Doeo flash game

Doeo is a rip-off of Takahiro Miyazawa’s wonderfully crazy game “Moai no Su”, featuring pretty much identical game mechanics but instead of brown moais (you know, those odd Easter Island statues), pink “doeos”. Since I first played it on Shockwave’s Japanese site in February 2007, it’s been featured on Jayisgames and become known to a somewhat broader audience.

Broader as in broader outside of Japan, because “Moai no Su” has not only been featured on a Japanese TV show but was also one of four winners in the Indies category of the Japan Game Awards 2006 (an earlier, less advanced version of the game, nonetheless).

So, ripping off an award-winning game hardly known outside of Japan, that IS rather sneaky, I have to admit. To make things worse, I actually started working on Doeo the very same week Moai no Su was released on Shockwave, and at first thought I would be able to finish it in a week. Ah, how many times have I not overestimated my productivity. In the end, it took a whole year before I sent out a somewhat finalized version to different gaming websites.

Presidential Vices

Some have already withdrawn their name from consideration. Others
are relative political unknowns. And two are too busy tussling over
their party's presidential slot to consider a No. 2 placement.

In the coming days, Republican presidential candidate John McCain will be picking his running mate. And as soon as Democrats choose, either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will consider which running mate will fare best on their buttons, bumper stickers, and posters.

Among those who have been asked (not by McCain, but reporters), Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has already declined the honor by virtue of being too outspoken. Louisiana guv Bobby Jindal said he wouldn't be asked and expressed contentment with his current gig, but appeared on Jay Leno ... just because.

As McCain and eventually Obama/Clinton ponder their choices, do they
also need to consider if public familiarity seeds vice-presidential
possibilities? A record of public service doesn't hurt: Former
Hewlett-Packard CEO and chair Carly Fiorina
garnered searches after the Wall Street Journal surfaced her name on
the McCain "short list," although her online profile didn't see an
enthusiastic surge. Then again, running for president doesn't guarantee
you a lasting impression either: In a Search review of the
vice-presidential candidate pool, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani doesn't even make the top 20.

A Huffington Post analysis argued recently that the best "veepstakes"
winners trump polls, stay in the background, come from the right state,
and prove competence... such as with a solid public record. Let's look
at which names have registered among the public this past month to be
the next Dick Cheney (figuratively speaking):

This is not a new drug ....... it has been around for centuries by many cultures, it is mainly used by healers.

Salvia divinorum is a sprawling perennial herb found in the Sierra Mazatec region of Mexico. It's leaves contain the extremely potent Salvinorin A. It has a history of buccal use as a divinatory psychedelic, and has been widely available since the mid 1990s primarily as a smoked herb. Its effects are considered unpleasant by many people.

Less than Jakes new album

Less Than Jake have come up with a name for their new album ... GNV
FLA. (after their hometown of Gainesville, Florida). The CD will be
released on June 24th and will be the first new stuff on their new
label, Sleep It Off Records. Unlike FBR, SIO is self-owned and
controlled. Interesting huh? How long do you suppose it will take
before Sleep It Off becomes owned and/or controlled by the
conglomerates?

Last month, the label re-released four of the
band's early titles (Pezcore; Goodbye, Blue & White; Losers, Kings
and Things We Don't Understand) plus an expanded DVD thing called The
People's History of Less Than Jake.

The new album was recorded
at Atlas Studios in Chicago and produced by Matt Allison (Rise Against,

The IRS has announced that it will start sending the economic stimulus tax rebate checks starting on May 2, with the first round of weekly payments to be completed by early July. In addition, the IRS has launched an Online Tax Rebate Calculator to help people determine the amount of their rebate check.

Rebate check direct deposit or mailings will be made according to the
last two digits of your Social Security numbers as follows:

The life and death of my cock!

Last night was a fun and interesting night........ went and played free pool at slick willies i didnt even have my id or wallet on me and was drink'n beers...... iam kool like that
then Jeff, matt, sarah, and stephanie went to TC on the east side and got crunk with two bottles of rossi. I took a bunch of pix and dance some. On the way back home matt ran over a chicken on montopolis, i guess some people had chickens in their yard and they wandered into the street......well all i remember is a sound of a bump and then a bunch of feathers..... I got a pic of it and will put them up when i get home from work......

SIRIUS TO BUY OUT XM RADIO

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. shareholders Tuesday approved Sirius's planned $13.6 billion buyout of U.S. satellite radio rival XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.
The New York broadcaster said more than 96 percent of Sirius shares voted in favor of the merger.
XM shareholders are being asked to approve the acquisition in a separate meeting in Washington Tuesday.
XM and Sirius shareholders would each own about half the combined company, Sirius said.
The deal, which would give XM shareholders 4.6 Sirius shares for each XM share, faces regulatory approval by the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission.
The FCC granted licenses to both companies in 1997 on the condition they agree not to combine and create a potential monopoly.
The terrestrial radio industry has also challenged the deal as anti-competitive.
Sirius Chairman Mel Karmazin reiterated Tuesday the companies expected the merger to close by the end of this year.

I might go become a teacher cause probably all i can do with the degree i got in History
